School Designs- Reflections
Designing for clubs in my school is how I started really learning different applications such as Adobe Indesign and PS. My school often preferred a simplistic style when formatting, which you can observe in the issues of "争鸣社", which I served as editor-in-chief for. I also served as editor-in-chief for our school's Peer Advisor magazine, during which I had plenty of fun designing the article covers. Other than that, the pictures below also show casual school posters I worked on (those usually being done with Canva), including the giant poster for our school's sports festival. I'd say that I learned most the technical skills while working on these designs and it has certainly been difficult but rewarding. I still remember the first time I deleted an entire indesign file without saving. It's safe to say that I won't be making that mistake ever again.
I'm a long-time designer for several of SHSID's projects. Below you'll find examples of my work in magazines, school clubs, and official SHSID posters/banners. I started out with using canva and gradually learned applications such as Adobe Indesign and PS.
